Ways To Ask Out A Guy

Are you having one of those dances where the girls ask the guy out? Or do you just know a really great guy that you would like to go out with and are tired of waiting around for him to ask you out? Well, I have came up with some ways to ask a guy out. I am going to list some of the not so unique ideas, but I also want to get into unique ways to ask a guy out…

9. SCAVENGER HUNT

I have always liked the idea of a scavenger hunt. With this technique, you would leave the last clue in a note saying “I want you to go out with me” then tell him in the note where to find you. When he comes, hide behind something, then jump out behind him, cover his eyes and say “do you?”

8. KIDNAP HIS JACKET

This one is very cute. Kidnap his jacket and leave a note in it’s place. Make the note something like this “If you ever want to see your jacket again and me, then meet me at this restaurant if you want to go on “a date with me.”

7. BUSINESS CARD

On the business card, put “Will you go out with me? If interested, please contact me.” Include your e-mail address and phone number on it.

6. WHICH COLOR?

Send a big envelope filled with balloons. One red, one yellow, one green, one orange, one purple, one white and one black. Add a note saying “Will you go out with me? Send the blue balloon if the answer is no and send the red balloon if the answer is yes.” Yes, I know, there is no blue balloon.

5. MAGAZINE STYLE

Find the guys favorite magazine or book that he is reading and put a piece of paper the size of the magazine or book. The paper in there should be slightly sprayed with perfume, then write a biography about you. On the bottom, in darker letters put: “I wonder if (insert his name) wants to go out with me.

4. DATE BY AN APPOINTMENT

This one is great if the guy you like works and schedules people for appointments. Call and make an appointment under another name. Then, show up at with some take out. This would be great if you knew what his favorite restaurant was. Ask a guy out this way and you definitely have a date!

3. AND THE WINNER IS

Write a letter to the guy that goes something like this “You won! You are the most eligible bachelor in town, would you be interested in going out with me?” Make sure to enclose your phone number. This is a great and unique way to ask a guy out!

2. SEND AN E-MAIL

You could always do it the old fashioned (or is that new fashioned?) way and send an e-mail confessing your crush to him and asking him out.

1.ASK HIM IF HE HAS A GIRLFRIEND

When/if he says “no,” then ask him if he wants a girlfriend. If he says sure, ask him if he has anyone in mind. It should end with you asking him out.
You see girls, you should ask a guy out in a way that will stick out in his mind. Gone are the days when we sat around waiting for them to ask us out. In this day and age, we are allowed to ask guys out without getting stared at. Do you like the unique ways to ask a guy out or do you want to stick with the traditional way?

Tips On How To Survive A Bad Haircut

About five months ago, my best friend got the worst haircut of her life, so I instantly wondered how to survive a bad haircut. She was seriously tempted to spend the rest of the year sequestered in her house with the blinds drawn, but instead I called my usual stylist and made an appointment for that same day. Here’s all of the advice she gave me on how to survive a bad haircut. And then I helped my best friend.

1. SEE YOUR OWN STYLIST

This is the first in my suggestions of how to survive a bad haircut because it’s important that you do it, right away, after the original, horrible cut. Your own stylist, the one you rely on a few times a year, will already know how to talk you off the ledge, communicate with you about a fix, and how to work with your hair. She won’t laugh at your misfortune, though she might give you a gentle “I told you not to trust anyone else!”

2. INVEST IN HEADBANDS

Her haircut disaster involved mis-matched and hack-y layers, so my stylist recommended the she invest in a few cute headbands of the “thick and stretchy” variety for everyday, and the “thin and sparkly” for dress-up. Once her hair was pushed back, or held back, with a headband, the hack-y layers weren’t as noticeable, and she wasn’t as tempted to shave my head and start over.

3. CLIPPIES ARE CUTE!

She also recommended a couple of cute clips for dealing with the bad hair days she knew my best friend would have at least once a week as the hack haircut grew out a little. Me and my best friend found some adorable and inexpensive ones at Forever 21 and H&M, but you can even find them at the local drugstore.

4. WAIT IT OUT

My stylist’s first bit of real advice for how to deal with a bad haircut in the long-term came near the end of my fix-it appointment. She told my best friend, simply, to be patient. A bad haircut, alas, takes just as long as a good one to grow out… even longer, if the bad haircut was too short or choppy. Bad bangs will take about 6 weeks to grow out. Bad layers, about 10. Be patient, and if you have to, schedule an in-between “trim and shape-up” with your Good Stylist to make sure you keep to the growing-out plan. 

7. GO WITH IT!

You know what? You’re beautiful, and bold, and you can laugh at yourself. So who cares about one bad haircut in your lifetime of looking smashing? Go with it! Wear your too-short hair in a faux hawk to work. Dye it an unreal shade of pink. Buy those clippies you thought were way too gaudy for you, and wear them anyway! And who cares if your ears stick out when you wear a baseball cap? You’re still you, fashionable and fun and funky.
See? A disastrously-bad haircut isn’t the end of the world! It’s important to work out a game plan with your stylist as soon as you can, and to stick to it. Signs He's Falling In Love With You



Falling in love is a wonderful thing that nearly everyone out there gets to experience at some point. I admit that it is hard to tell when a guy is falling in love with you. They can send such mixed signals! Below, I am going to give you signs he is falling in love with you. These are things that I've noticed. I have taken help from people, friends, aunts, newly married people and I think this really is legit. But, you never know about the male species. 

11. HE GOES OUT OF HIS WAY FOR YOU

Does he go out of his way for you? Sure, he could always take a shortcut, but does he go that extra mile just because it is something that will make you happy? If so, then this is a sure sign that you have a guy who is falling for you!

10. HE LOVES SPENDING TIME WITH YOU

It just goes without saying that when you’re in love, you enjoy spending time with the person you are in love with. Instead of going out with his buddies, does he decide to spend time with you? Instead of doing one of his favorite hobbies, would he prefer spending time with you doing one of your favorite hobbies? If so, then watch out…he may just be falling for you!

9. HE SMILES AT YOU

Sure, guys smile…especially when they are trying to get some and I put that one lightly. However, you can tell a caring smile from a flirty smile. Does he smile at you with that twinkle in his eye? That smile is definitely somethingto look into.

8. HE CAN TALK WITH YOU FOR A LONG TIME

Guys do not like to “talk things through” when they’re upset. Many guys don’t like to talk at all. However, when they find a girl that they enjoy spending time with, they feel as if they could talk for a very long time. What is the longest you and him have ever spent talking? Think about it.

7. HE DOESN’T ACT AS IF HE CONTROLS YOU

When a guy acts as if he controls you, it is not love. That my friend is obsession. Trust me, I have been there and done that. If on the other hand, the guy acts as if he does not control you and tells you that you are free to do what you want (just don’t date other guys), then this is a sign that he wants you to himself and is in love with you.

6. HE GETS YOU GIFTS

Sure, every guy can get a girl a gift. However, if he gets you gifts AND matches some of my signs, then you may have yourself a keeper. What gifts has your boyfriend gotten you? The more special the gifts, the more you mean to him. Maybe a diamond ring is in the future. Just him on his knees with the box in his hand. Eeeeeeeeeee (Sorry. I just needed to do that)

5. HE OFFERS TO TAKE YOU OUT TO DINNER AND A MOVIE


If the guy would rather take you out to dinner and a movie every Friday than spend time with his friends clubbing, he may be in love with you. It’s even better if he lets you pick the movie and is more than happy to watch whatever you pick even if it is a chick flick. Needless to say, this is a two way street and sometimes you should go watch his kind of movies as well. It’ll make him happier and make him fall in love with you even more.

4. HE LOVES “CUDDLE TIME”

Okay, okay, when a guy is not in love with a girl, they generally do not like cuddle time. Cuddle time is the time where the two of you hold one another and talk. You know, share the fondest memories together, talk about your lives, your past, even silly stuff that you can’t share with everyone.

3. HE TELLS YOU HE LOVES YOU

Okay, why not cut to the chase and just say “I love you?” Many guys will not tell a girl that they love them if they do not really mean it. If they tell you that they love you and want to be with you for a long time and they match the signs of some of my other tips, then you may have a guy who is actually in love with you!

2. YOU KNOW YOU CAN TRUST HIM AND HE TRUSTS You

I have this gut instinct of who I can trust and who I cannot trust. If you are the same way and you feel as if you can trust him, then that is perfect. If he trusts you in return, even better. Trust is a must have in every loving relationship.

1. YOU CAN JUST Tell


When a guy is in love with you and is falling head over heels for you, you can just tell! Face it, he has that smile and all of the other signs of being in love. He has that look in his eyes when he looks at you. He sighs a happy sigh when he sees you. And when he hugs you it seems like he never wants to let go and you believe it when he says “I can’t believe how lucky I am to have you in my arms”. That my friend is definitely a sign that he is in love with you and that is why I put it at number one.

Ways To Recycle Old Clothes.

There are several ways to recycle old clothes and many reasons you might want to. Closet overflowing? Piles of stuff that no longer fit? Things you simply don’t like any more? If the answer is yes to any or all of these questions, you need to know some ways to recycle old clothes. We’re not talking about upcycling so you can wear them but about the best way to make the most of clothing that still has wear left in it that can be put to good use. There is great benefit to the environment when we recycle old clothes and there’s the philanthropic aspect too – helping others. Let’s take a look at some great ways to recycle old clothes.

1. GIVE TO FRIENDS

An easy way to recycle old clothes that you consider past their wear date, but are still in good condition, is to pass them on to friends. For them, they could be exciting ‘new additions’ for their wardrobe, especially if the clothing suits their style of dressing. They will appreciate your gesture and the fact that you will be saving them money. Don’t forget that item you found lurking at the back of your closet may well be considered on trend again now.

2. GIVE TO GOOD CAUSES

Recycle clothes by donating them to your local thrift shops or charity organizations. These places aren’t a dumping ground for rubbish – the clothing should still be of use, but also remember that even if an item is stained, torn or lightly damaged, it can be given a new lease of life at a textile recovery facility.

3. GIVE TO CLOTHES RECYCLING CENTERS

Textile recycling recovery facilities sort out items of clothing according to their condition, fabric, type and also refurbish handbags, belts, shoes and hats. They separate the recycled clothing into useful items for distribution to countries worldwide. Some are used again in innovative ways – {FUN FACT} even tennis balls are made out of recycled clothing.

4. REUSE AROUND THE HOUSE

One of the simplest and cost-saving ways to recycle clothes is to use articles of soft clothing as polishing cloths, dusters, car and window cleaning materials, drying-up towels and for many other and varied purposes. Recycling is a great way to help the planet’s environment problems.

5. GET CRAFTY

Soft cuddly toys like rag dolls and soft teddy bears can be produced out of recycled clothing. When you outgrow so many items are in perfect condition that is ideal for further usage. Old clothes can be reused for the bodies of toys or for the stuffing. If you’re feeling crafty, cut material from old clothing into equal strips and reuse them by weaving into shapes to make purses, or even turn them into shopping bags. Patchwork quilts and even wall hangings are other methods of recycling old clothes.

6. SELL THEM

Selling your unwanted items to shops that specialize in selling fashionable recycled clothes can earn you some extra money. They sell on a consignment basis and take a reasonable commission on sale. You might also find something that you want there, so it becomes a worthwhile exchange and a benefit for your wardrobe.

7. SWAP THEM

One of the most fun ways of recycling unwanted clothes is to get the girls together for a swap meet. Get your BFFs to sort out their unwanted stuff and all gather in one place for a mega swap session. Get in some coke and snacks and make it a fun girls night in.
